President/CEO
Gretchen Rosenberg is the President and CEO of Kentwood Real Estate, Colorado’s exclusive affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway’s HomeServices of America. Kentwood is one of the nation’s most prestigious luxury real estate brokerages in Colorado serving communities throughout the northern Front Range from metropolitan Denver to Fort Collins and beyond, and clientele in all price ranges who appreciate the Kentwood luxury touch.
 
Gretchen navigates Kentwood’s growing elite team of over 240 members of NAR in Colorado’s finest luxury brokerage network. The company is comprised of Kentwood Real Estate - DTC, Kentwood Real Estate - Cherry Creek, Kentwood Real Estate - City Properties, Kentwood Real Estate - Northern Properties in Fort Collins, Kentwood Commercial Real Estate, Denver Rental, and Prosperity Home Mortgage.
 
Recognized for outstanding leadership and excellence, Gretchen has recently been honored with HousingWire’s national 2020 Vanguard Award and the Titan 100 Colorado’s Top C-Suite award, as well as was named Denver Business Journal’s 2020 Most Outstanding Women in Business award finalist, Broker Manager of the Year in 2012 by the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® and REALTOR® of the Year by the Denver Board of REALTORS® in 2009.
 
With 25 years of experience in residential real estate, over the years, Gretchen served on the Denver Board of REALTORS® Grievance Committee, International Committee, Roundtable Awards Committee, and was a member of the Board of Directors. She was also a member of the Board of Directors at the National Association of REALTORS®(NAR) and the Colorado Association of REALTORS® for nine years and served on the NAR Board Jurisdiction and Communications Committees. Gretchen was chosen as NAR President’s Liaison to India in 2015. In 2006, 2011, and 2015 she was invited by NAR – India to be a guest presenter at their annual real estate conference.
 
Furthermore, Gretchen has been a featured speaker at some of the industry’s most high-profile and exclusive events such as the Luxury Portfolio SUMMIT 2020 that was well-attended by top-producing real estate professionals from across the world. Regionally, she also recently spoke at the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®’ WIRED (Women in Real Estate Denver) event and DenX, BusinessDen’s event for women.
 
Gretchen is a member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), the Colorado Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (CAHREP), the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP®) Denver Chapter, the National Association of Gay & Lesbian Real Estate Professionals (NAGLREP) and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB). She is passionate about and committed to advocating for equity, inclusion, and diversity in the housing industry and beyond.
 
Born in Ohio and raised in California, Gretchen moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver where she graduated with a degree in Public Affairs and International Studies and later earned an MBA in Marketing. Working with her in-laws’ local advertising agency for several years taught her the basics of advertising from the ground up, after which Gretchen went on to teach business and creative writing classes as an Adjunct Instructor at the Community College of Denver. She participated in the founding of the Kentwood Cherry Creek office as an agent two years after becoming a licensed Broker in Colorado and acted as the Managing Broker of the Cherry Creek office for over 11 years.
 
As president and CEO, Gretchen is deeply committed to supporting Kentwood Real Estate Broker Associates, homebuyers and sellers, the real estate community, and the local community at large. She was nominated to the Board of Directors at HomeAid Colorado in October 2017 and continues to serve on the board today.
 
In addition to HomeAid Colorado, Gretchen has volunteered with and/or supported: Meals on Wheels, The Women’s Foundation of Colorado, ACE Scholarships, The Children’s Hospital Foundation, Women for Women International, The American Cancer Society, Foodbank of the Rockies, Colorado Public Radio, The Denver Dumb Friends League, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, The Autism Society and UNICEF.
 
In her leisure time, Gretchen enjoys the Colorado lifestyle: skiing, bike riding, reading a good book in the backyard, as well as traveling to visit her California, Seattle, and DC family members. Her son, Joe, left home to attend the University of Oregon, later moving to San Diego and finally settling in Seattle. They visit as often as possible and love to see live music together.
